Celebrity Casino Night

Philadelphia Style is rolling the dice, stocking up on chips and going all in this holiday season, and it’s all for the sake of charity. This Thursday, December 2, at Denim Lounge, Style Magazine teams up with Trump Taj Mahal for a casino-themed night that is sure to bring out the compulsive gambler in all of us.

And best of all, a portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots, an organization providing gifts for underprivileged children during the holiday season. Guests are also encouraged to arrive with a new unwrapped gift to donate.

Cashman and Associates has taken care of the party-planning details, making sure that the casino-style theme has added appeal with a list of celebrity guests who are ready to roll the dice and an impressive list of sponsors that include Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker and, of course, Aroundphilly.com.

The party also boasts some of the cities’ best-known “philebrities” including Eagles’ Jon Runyan, Hank Fraley, Derrick Burgess and Correll Buckhalter, Jimmy Rollins of the Phillies, Doug Kammerer of NBC 10 and players from the Philadelphia KIXX.

Guests will have the ability to play an array of casino games in a celebrity poker room powered by Atlantic City’s infamous Taj Mahal and enjoy a select open bar and hors d’oeuvres. To add to the extravagant atmosphere, participants will have the chance to win such lavish prizes as a VIP Taj Mahal weekend getaway, a stocked Denim liquor locker, and spa and dinner packages from popular spots around the city.

So cancel your plans and throw down some chips with your celebrity friends for an extravaganza that will make this season memorable. Reservations are required for this A- list event, so grab your spot, bring a toy and dress with “Style.”

Celebrity Casino Night, Thurs., Dec. 2, 7pm – 10pm, $40, Denim Lounge, 1712 Walnut St., 215.413.7501.
