I think the employees at Jim Steak’s are becoming a little too competitive with the dozens of neighboring head shops on South Street, as police have just raided the famous steak shop for the second time in less than a year.
Last August, Jim’s was raided when police served a warrant for an employee. They reportedly confiscated cocaine, marijuana, Xanax, Percocet and around $2,400 in cash.
This time around, Jim’s employee of the month is cook Nathaniel Danny Cyrus. Earlier this week, police raided both his home near 20th and Dickinson and his workplace, confiscating pills, marijuana and cash money. Police apparently arrested another cook at Jim’s on Tuesday night as well, though details on those charges haven’t been released. Philly Eater is reporting that this is the fourth time Jim’s has been raided by police since 1990.
Below is an artist’s rendition of the purported crime.
