Welcome to the wonderful world of beauty pageants, where nothing is as it seems and Donald Trump is your only God.
Here’s what went down: Two days after the pageant, Miss PA (Sheena Monnin) relinquished her state title and resigned from the Miss Universe organization. She wrote on her Facebook page that she no longer wishes “to be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy.”
The aspiring theologian was particularly focused on her theory that the top five contestants were selected even before the pageant began. But representatives from the Trump-owned group maintain that Monnin wrote them an email and cited their acceptance of transgender contestants as the reason behind her resignation.
Obviously, Donald Trump cannot have these outlandish accusations compromising his professional integrity and unexcelled classiness. So, the outspoken tycoon did what he does best- he called in to a day time talk show. On Wednesday, Trump told Today that the organization intends to file a lawsuit against “scorned” Monnin for “her baseless claims.”
There is a catch here, though. In an interview with E! News, Trump’s VP, Michael D. Cohen, stated, “Donald Trump believes in giving everyone a second chance, …” So, if Monnin sends
God Trump a written apology within the next 24 hours, they won’t sue.
Coincidentally, this is the same deal Trump sent to Obama.
