While the majority of PYT‘s patrons are trendy 20-somethings, on early Monday morning, a murderous villain somehow slipped into their ranks. NBC reports that 25-year-old Maurice Kimble of Upper Darby was shot in the chest just outside the Piazza. Police say that an argument between Kimble and the still-unknown shooter started on PYT’s outdoor patio and then moved to Hancock St. where the fatal incident occurred.
Kimble was briefly revived at Hahnemann Hospital, but he was eventually pronounced dead at 2:40 am this morning. Police uncovered a revolver at the scene of the crime and are currently reviewing security camera footage to identify a suspect.
