Well, Wexler Gallery has done it again! The premier venue in the city to annihilate the boundaries between fine art and crafts proves this thesis in its ever-inimitable fashion with the current exhibit, The Historic Glass Collection of Ted Nash & New Arrivals. Nash was the single most influential person to turn academic and public opinion alike around about glasswork, as rich a reward as any sculpture. Artists (not artisans) on view include the No. 1 name in fine art glass Dale Chihuly (whose fiery-hued chandeliers adorn the entryway of the Borgata), to just as accomplished but lesser-known folk as Harvey Littleton, along with, of course, a good number of others to get your tensile juices flowing.
