Lunchtime at Libre

One of Old City’s most notable hotspot’s, Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar, will soon be sizzling all day long. On April 11th this authentic island experience begins lunchtime service, Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm. “Due to popular demand,” cites Abby Welsh, the restaurant’s spokesperson, “we’ve decided to give the people what they want.”

Abby is referring to the special daytime selections of Executive Chef Adam Veloso’s award-winning Cuban-style cuisine. Look for delectable items such as Slow Roasted Pork Leg sandwich, Empanadas and his notable Duck Frita salad.

Cuba Libre’s Tropical Saturday and Sunday brunch (10:30am-2:30pm), already an Old City mainstay, will remain a featured weekend attraction. Each night, of course, dinner there (4-11pm) is always hot, hot, hot.
