Scrapplefest

Ah, scrapple. That mysterious meat product that may or may not be from a pig. But hey, if Hawaii can have a Spam Jam, then why can’t Philly have a Scrapplefest? On April 21, from 10am to 4pm, head out to Reading Terminal Market to celebrate the pork scraps and trimmings that have gotten you through many mornings. Presented by Hatfield Quality Meats, the fest will include product samples, chef-prepared dishes, scrapple sculptures, photos with mascots and the Mummers string band. Skip breakfast before you come and discover scrapple for lunch.
