Brains in your Head and Shoes on your Feet

The phrase "sensible shoes" immediately conjures images of tourists donning athletic sneakers or the low pumps favored by real estate agents and my aunt Mildred. That was prior to discovering these darling Annastacia pumps by Shoes For Lovely People at Bus Stop in Queen Village. The peep toe, combined with the white piping and coral and navy color combo, creates a 1940s aesthetic that would work with everything from this season’s cropped pants, to nautical-inspired white shorts or a perfectly tailored pencil skirt. The yellow and taupe shoe with black piping would look smashing for a night out in your favorite strappy black dress. The low heel syncs well with the style of the shoe meaning there’s no need to sacrifice fashion for function.
