Stay-cation Destination

You may have been dreaming about white-sand beaches, poolside bars with scrumptious margaritas, golden tans and romantic candlelight dinners in your own private cabana, but your pressing bills, demanding boss and other nagging entanglements are here to wake you up.

If an actual vacation isn’t in the cards for the near future, plan a stay-cation at Dolce Valley Forge where they’re serving up delectable courses accompanied with the most delicately blended mixed drinks in the area. Where else can you get a poolside happy hour without taking a vacation day?

Recession Proof Happy Hour

The week starts off on Monday with a flight of four bourbons and Louisiana crawfish for $8. Tuesday is a flight of four wines with global artisan cheeses for $6. Wednesday offers a flight of four martinis and focaccia pizza for $7. Thirsty Thursday gets you a flight of four draft beers and beef sliders for only $5. And for TGIF, a flight of four vodkas and oysters on the ½ shell for $8. The quality and presentation of these flights is unbeatable.

Poolside Happy Hour

Miami made poolside bars hot in the 90s and now the trend has moved up north to Dolce where poolside happy hour features great drink specials, colorful lounges and lit-up waters. Not only are there complimentary, Latin-inspired hors d’oeuvres, but the drinks are cheap! Only $4 for assorted Cruzan Rum creations, $3 for wine, $2 for beer and $1 for non-alcoholic drinks. The Delano can’t match these prices.
