Labor Day Weekend is right around the corner (*silent weeping*). Don’t say goodbye to summer by watching reruns of The Soup wearing your college Tour De Shore shirt. Here are a few fun and cheap things to do this Labor Day weekend.
Cannstatter’s 138th Volksfest Oktoberfest
Dance the night away to German music, beer, wine and crafts. If you can’t get the hint, Cannstatter’s, in Northeast Philadelphia, is hosting their 138th Volksfest Oktoberfest this Labor Day weekend. Enjoy the holiday weekend with authentic German culture and fun for the entire family. The fun includes live music and bands, rides and great German-American food. Admission is $6 for one day, $9 for two days and $11 for all three days.
Phillies Labor Day Double Header
Haven’t gotten enough of the Philadelphia Phillies yet? Then this is the perfect opportunity to see your favorite players play a holiday double header. On September 6, go out and support the Phils when they take on the Marlins and hopefully become that much closer to another championship season. Let’s Go Phillies!
