I was under the impression that New Yorkers thought Philadelphia closely resembled a third world country. Apparently, it is quite the opposite. The New York Times Magazine, “T”, has a new article highlighting the Philadelphia beer scene. It takes a look at some fine watering holes in Northern Liberties. Included on the list are The 700 Club, Standard Tap The Foodery, North Third and The Abbaye.
While we certainly appreciate the attention, seriously we’re blushing a little bit, the title of the article, “North Philly Beer” is somewhat incorrect. How many people refer to NoLibs as North Philly (aka Northadeath)? Also, we noticed that your super stock photo of the beloved Standard Tap needed a little updating.
