Despite a last minute move from the Star Light Ballroom to the Piazza and a little bit of rain just as the show got underway, the 2011 Mad Decent Block Party was still victorious. There were, of course, a few pockets of haters continually complaining that the venue wasn’t actually a block party (and they’re sort of right) and the sometimes ridiculously long lines for beer did dampen the mood somewhat but, nevertheless, the show was a resounding success.
