Streets Dept will be holding an art show this weekend featuring work from some of the most prominent local street artists in the city. The founder of Streets Dept, Conrad Benner, has been cataloging wheat pastes, sticker bombs, graffiti, art installs and even glitter bombs that have been popping up all over Philadelphia at an accelerating rate. But now he’ll be bringing that same great art to you in real life at Streets Dept Present, which will be held at PhilaMOCA on October 22nd from 7 to 10 pm.
In conjunction with the show, local artist Nosego has created a new a mural on the side of the PhilaMOCA. building The wall, which previously held a Mad Decent mural (PhilaMOCA took over the building that used to be Mad Decent’s headquarters), is now adorned with Nosego’s recognizable style. Take a gander at Conrad’s photos below for a preview of Saturday night’s show!
