It seems someone working at Kung Fu Necktie may have been a little too caught up in the holidaze, as news spread today that the popular venue forgot to renew its liquor license. Whoops.
On December 28th, KFN unexpectedly announced that they would be closed, releasing this ultra-official statement via Facebook, “We are CLOSED tonight due to some unforeseen issues. sorry dudes!”
According to The Deli and KFN’s Twitter account, the venue has moved around a few shows but plans on hosting their usual schedule as 21+ and BYOB. Some shows will also be all-ages, though these obvously won’t be BYOB.
Speaking with The Deli Mag, Jeff Meyer, a booker for the venue said, “Seems to be more to the story, and [I] don’t know when the issues will be resolved.”
Follow KFN on Twitter for more information regarding any unscheduled changes in venue. Here’s hoping they’re back up and running soon.
