Philadelphia fans of 30 Rock were elated to see that our very own Philly Phanatic was mentioned during last night’s new episode. Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) posits the new theory while talking with her boyfriend (played by the very attractive, James Marsden), pointing out that the Philly Phanatic is, indeed, a female. “Oh yea, if you watch those games, that thing definitely has a menstrual cycle.”
Personally, I always thought the Phanatic was a somewhat emasculated male.
