The incomparable Terry Gross found herself on the opposite end of an interview during last night’s Colbert Report. It’s not often that Terry Gross gets interviewed, and, initially, she did seem somewhat uncomfortable. But after Colbert assured Gross that her first answer was, indeed, an answer, the Fresh Air host went on to talk about past notable interviews with Grover Norquist and “We’ll-Do-It-Live” Bill O’Reilly.
Unfortunately, she didn’t elaborate on her epic and fantastically uncomfortable interview with Gene Simmons, which you should definitely listen to. That one made Bill-O seem as gentle and soft-spoken as Marty Moss-Coane.
