M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, After Math, is currently shooting in and around Philadelphia. But while the former Fresh Prince and his son, Jaden, both have major roles in the film, the Smith family has chosen not to temporarily reside in Will’s hometown of Philadelphia. Instead, the Smiths have rented a posh mansion in the Villanova area that’s reportedly worth 7.4 million dollars.
The West Philly native wasn’t in the area for most of February though, as part of the filming for the post-apocalyptic movie was set in Costa Rica.
But according to Curbed Philly, the Smiths are now back at their 10-acre home in Villanova since filming moved to the Budd Manufacturing Facility at 2450 W. Hunting Park Avenue. Neighbors say they frequently see cars outside and lights constantly on in the home.
So what’s the deal Big Willy? Can’t take the heat of the city any more, eh? Well, at least you’re acclimated to really really long cab rides…
