Director David Lynch was spotted dining at Fairmount’s London Grill earlier today. Owner Terry Berch McNally apparently sent some photos over to City Paper, then City Paper promptly (and justifiably) freaked the flip out over it.
Lynch was reportedly very polite and graciously posed for photos. While it hasn’t been confirmed, City Paper hinted that Lynch is in town discussing a new project that may be based in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia was the inspiration Lynch’s cult classic film, Eraserhead, which you should definitely watch if you dig insane movies that make you sick and uncomfortable.
In lieu of more information, here’s Lynch discussing why he loves Philadelphia.
