We’ve made no efforts to hide our inveterate hatred of all duck-related flotation devices; they’re annoying, unnecessary and, more importantly, they kill people. But some honcho over at the Duck Boat company must have some serious political sway, because duck boats are still plaguing Philadelphia to this day.
Over the weekend, we noticed something, something that we can only interpret as an omen. On the night before the civil trial was to begin (the trial which seeks compensation for the death of two Hungarian tourists who were killed in a Duck Boat accident almost two years ago) a duck boat stalled in the middle of the Delaware river… UNEXPLAINABLY.
No one was hurt, but we can’t help but feel this means something.
This is important.
