Look, we appreciate that the folks at Tumbler Tour chose to bring the newest and decidedly most bad ass Batmobile to Philadelphia today. But couldn’t they have found a better location, perhaps one that isn’t adjacent to that log jam of unfinished off-ramps near I-95 and Aramingo?
The Tumbler, which was featured in Christopher Nolan’s Batman reboots, did roll through Philly proper this morning, stopping briefly at the Franklin Institute. Yet, for some reason, organizers will be tumbling the thing over to the Wal Mart parking lot at 2220 Wheatsheaf Lane. Yes, 2220 Wheatsheaf Lane, Philadelphia, PA. 19137 is the actual address.
So, if you don’t have to work today between 10 am and 3 pm, and you have a car, and you’re not inexplicably frightened by that strange area of the city, by all means, go check it out. I’m sure those weirdos who fish next to I-95 make good company.
