Since TLC is firmly committed to jumping the shark (and every other aquatic animal for that matter), a Pete Rose reality show featuring his inexplicably young and attractive wife really is par for the course- despite how cringeworthy it may be.
According to Dan Gross of Philly Gossip, the show, which will likely be called ”Pete Rose and Kiana Kim Family Project,” will focus on the former Phillie and his wife as they work to squeeze fame from a stone raise their two kids while living in separate cities (Rose is in, surprise, Vegas while Kiana lives in LA).
Possible plots include a presumably dramatic trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Kiana getting a breast reduction. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rose stated that, ““She’s got younger kids and I’ve got [four adult] kids, and we go through the same things everybody else does: taking the braces off, making sure they get their education and they go to basketball practice or acting class.”
TLC will shoot five episodes which should come on sometime by the end of this year. Anyone want to bet on how many episodes will air before it gets cancelled? We’re looking at you, Pete.
