Halloween house parties can be scary for reasons that have nothing to do with the holiday. Your friends are wielding an alarming number of costume props while drinking and a steady rotation of "Thriller" reminds you of that third grade party you went to and dressed up like a witch but had no broom. For some real Halloween fun, Aroundphilly.com, Philadelphia Style magazine, and Barlatt Group are hosting a party at McFadden's Ballpark. There's a five-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts from 9pm - 2am, and costume contests, apple bobbing, music, and live make-up performances by La Stella Belle. Costumes are optional but why skip the fun? You've got a broom to ride this time.
