Description: Nectar's humble exterior lends little to the soaring ceiling, luxe fabrics and romantic atmosphere that makes up this Main Line hot spot, owned and operated by partners Scott Morrison (Paoli's Basil and Bryn Mawr's Tango) and Michael Wei (Bryn Mawr's Yangming and Chestnut Hill's Cin Cin). A towering silk-screen reprint of a 14th century Tibetan monk crowns the bar, and is often the topic of conversation among lunch and dinner guests enjoying executive chef and partner Patrick Feury's eclectic Asian-inspired menu made up of dim sum for sharing, sushi and sashimi prepared by a master sushi chef, and traditional entrees like tea smoked wild boar and Chinese sausage lo mein and rack of lamb with apple dumplings. Creative cocktails are made of fresh juices and change seasonally; twelve Asian beers are offered on the drink menu. A recessed second level dining area is ideal for private parties while a finished outdoor patio is a casual setting during warm weather.
