Description: Located on the ground floor of the Western Union Telegraph Building, Union Gourmet Market provides a quick and casual lunch spot for the many people who work near Washington Square. You can eat-in or take-out or shop for their artisanal cheeses, cured fish and fresh antipasto bar. A communal table seats 12 and cozy cafe tables seat an additional 30 people. The Union Gourmet Market is much more than a place for a quick meal. They host cooking demos, events with visiting chefs and community fundraisers. It's the perfect way to spend your lunch break.

Insider Tips: Make sure to try one of their signature dishes. You can't go wrong ordering the crab and artichoke dip made with jumbo lump crab meat and tender artichoke hearts or the smoked salmon pizza with whole wheat crust, sliced tomatoes and fresh dill.
